Events and Functions
The school may on some occasions require parent's contribution towards outstation trips with overnight stay or special functions in which pupil is participating.

Rules given here relate to functions where parents are invited.
• Parents or guests are to be invited only on two functions i.e. parents day/ Annual prize distribution and Drama / concert in a year.
• Functions do not exceed two hours including the time for prize distribution.
• Chief Guests at functions are from within the system. Prior approval of non-system guests has to be given by Academia International Board or the Managing Director.
• The co-educational character of the school is maintained at functions, with no gender based segregation.
• All presentations are in English except for an occasional Urdu poem/song/sketch.
• The content of each presentation is of an excellent standard and approved by the management weeks in advance of the performance. Final rehearsal is attended by the Managing Director. The Managing Director approves the content, style etc of all the items in the function.
• Compering is conducted by the staff and/or by students. The selection of compers is based on their English pronunciation, fluency as well as their ability to generate interest among the audience. (A grim faced comper makes a negative impression)
• After parents are seated, cold drinks are served. Separate arrangements are made for tea and snacks for the Chief Guest along with the Head after the function.
• A clear instruction to the invitees is given regarding the attendance of children/babies. This must be fully implemented regardless of whether the babies/children belong to the teachers/management etc.
• The function must start at the stated time. A wait of 15 minutes is permissible for outside Chief Guests.
