Rules of Admission

Admission Procedure

1. The completed Admission Form along with copies of birth and health certificates, 3 passport size photographs and the Registration Fees (non-refundable) must be submitted to the school office.
2. After the Admission Form has been processed, a date is given for the applicant's assessment.
3. Parents are informed of the outcome within one week of the child's assessment. If a place is offered, the child's admission / enrolment must be confirmed and all dues paid within 3 days of the date of offer.
4. If, within 3 days, enrolment is not confirmed, the child's place is offered to another candidate.
5. The application forms for admission can be obtain from the office during working hours between 08:00AM to 02:00 PM on payment of Rs.399/-

Eligibility

a) Kindergarten & Nursery Class

Children are admitted to Playgroup & Nursery class if they have passed their third birthday on 1st April of the year of admission. Children are expected to be toilet-trained, ready to spend time away from home, and to respond normally to stimuli.

b) Prep :
Children must be above age 4 but under age 5 on 1st April of the year of admission. For admission to Prep, children are assessed to respond intelligently and normally to stimuli, understanding of English language, letters of alphabet (English and Urdu), numbers, as well as independence and conduct.

c) Class 1 to 4 :
Children must be above age 5 but under age 6 on 1st April of the year of admission.
F or each successive class, a year should be added to the age. For admission, children take a written test in English, Maths and Urdu. Children are also assessed for their English reading and spoken English.

d) Class 5 to 8
• The student must pass a written test in English, Mathematics and Urdu, set by the school
• The Head must ensure that the entrance test papers are checked by the concerned teacher; ideally by the subject teacher of the class in which the student is to be admitted.
• Student's comprehension level, as well as fluency in spoken English to be determined before admission is offered in a certain class.
• The test must be properly graded and the teacher concerning the subject and the class, must comment and sign.
• The Head of the school must give give final approval in writing, before the student is admitted in the school.

Withdrawal

Any notice of withdrawal should be given in writing before the end the month, otherwise fees will be charged for the next month. Such notices should be given by the parents or guardians and not by pupils.
